Waterworks in Math class...?
Friday, August 21, 2009 @ 11:35 PM
Hello.
I'm not sure if this post should be damn emo or super dee duper hyper. Nevermind. I shall be neutral and just list the crazy things that happened today.
I was early today! Yay. First period, Malay. I started shivering during my test. Cikgu saw and asked if I was cold. I said no, but she turned off the fan directly above me anyway. It was very nice of her. Other teachers probably wouldn't even notice if I had a nervous breakdown right in front of them. *cough cough* And for the record, I wasn't even shivering cos I was cold.
No point talking about MASA's periods.
English, a bit embarassing really. But Miss Brislin is really nice. :) Jogging period, Sports Day briefing and YOG survey. :( I wanted to go jogging before the fasting month starts tmr.
Recess, chocolate milk-ed with Nabilah. And I bought chocolate too. I think I deserve it after the 'waterworks' this morning. Geog, slacked. EEEEEEK MUST PAY ATTENTION FOR EYEs! But Jeslyn, Amira and me were discussing the Periodic Table of Elements. Really. We added three new elements to the table. Ba(Bacon), Mo(Moron) and Id(Idiot). Guess who is which element?
Lit was...traumatising. Hmm...it has to do with two long pieces of velcro straps. That's all I'm saying. BTW, I forgot to mention that Science was a little funny too. Especially that igloo question. MASA read out some answers. These two are my favourite.
'The igloo is suitable for living because it has a small door.'
'Each piece of ice used is cut carefully to prevent cracks when it is fully built...'
The second answer MASA was like, "This is a Science question, not an architectural question." The best part is I know who I wrote that answer...but I'm not telling.
After school, Science rem, CSP and CHOIR. Science rem was boring. CSP was quite fun. The whole class didn't greet Han Lao Shi until I came in. (FYI I'm the person who says 'class stand!' for every lesson. In Chinese ofc.) CHOIR, practised Zai Ixoiten. OMG AUDITIONS NEXT WEEK! *running around screaming silently* All my seniors were freakishly hyper today...Weird.
After CHOIR, I walked all around the 2nd floor cos I couldn't find a staircase that wasn't locked ._. Yes, I am a loser. Then, Lala and me did the most random thing we've ever done before. We went all the way to Paya Lebar to eat Macs. I wanted to eat Macs since last week and since I start fasting tmr, I was kind of desperate. More like craving for OREO McFLURRY but...shhh. Seriously, we went there after CHOIR. And Lala was calling Farizan to see if she had any money we could borrow. (Yes I was that desperate peeps. I had money but Lala didn't.) And Lala sounded like some kind of a loanshark!
"Hi where are you? Have you finshed Guides?"
Pause.
"Do you have any money?"
Pause.
"Do you have a lot of money?"
I laughed like retard man! And the bast part was, Farizan wasn't even in school when Lala called her. WTH LALA. RANDOM! We still went there and bought OREO McFLURRY and took a picture of that fountain thingy. And I tripped on the stupid slanted staircase. GRRR. Took 28 to Kembangan MRT and walked home. Reached home at 7 pm on the dot. Ahhhh...now I'm tired. I think I'm going to sleep after this.
Last thing:
RANDOM CRAP!
-Lala doesn't know the diff between a granola bar and a chocolate bar.
-I am still freaked out by what happened in Lit. *shudder*
-Spongebob Squarepants is so cute! XD
-CHOCOLATE TOINKERS THE WORLD!
-OREO McFLURRY TOINKERS AFTER CHOCOLATE!
-I started screaming BANZAI when I saw my SL.
Yeah. I love random crap. Okay I really have to go to sleep now. Byeee.
[And I'm burning all the letters
Hoping I can forget her and her bad taste.]

KT TUNSTALL!!
@ 11:33 PM
KT Tunstall"Stop completely twatting your planet," Scottish rocker Tunstall barks on the Global Cool website. "We haven't got anywhere else to live." Tunstall, who owns neither a car nor TV, built her home and recording studio using reclaimed wood, sheep's wool for insulation and solar panels for energy. To offset the carbon footprint from the making of her first CD, the 32-year-old planted 6,000 trees in Scotland. What's more, Tunstall claims: "I use biodiesel fuel on my buses and carbon-neutralize the audience's journey to gigs."
She's so awesome :))
And the pic is so cute :D
KT Tunstall is my new fav artist! :))
She did a Jackson 5 cover that is so WOW!!! The intro ahhh...
She plays guitar and sings!
And furthermore, she's a girl!
Girl Power :D!
She should be more popular than Jonas Babi =.="
Oh Well.
Okay I'll review this week....
Mon
Omg had Science CT on this day!!!
But I got back my marks today ( 21st Aug) and I PASSED not borderline!
FINALLY.
Tues
Had no CT but was so stress studying for Geog and Lit the next day.
However, there was this PARTICULARLY funny incident that happened.....
Me, Sarah, Anisa, Farah and Sheng Min were just about to go home when....
Me: "OHMYGOD! Isn't that DIANA?" * Points at someone jogging outside the sch next to highway*
*Everyone turns to look Staff Diana's way*
Then I noticed that Staff Fatimah and Sgt Yvonne was also jogging with her.
We all watch them until they came out of view cos of a few trees.
Me: * Rubs eyes* "Was I the only one who saw that?"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Then Sri and Hazzena told us that they just saw the 3 of them on the 2nd Floor a few mins ago!
Den we all became freaked out and thought we were hallucinating!
HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHHA
But we weren't cos we saw the 3 of em running back into sch a few moments later.
I WAN TO DO THAT ONE DAY SARAH!
:D:D
Wed

Den aft sch also run everywhere also! Gosh, the pizza added up to $85! But glad tat everyone contributed :)).. Me and Farizan went to collect the food from the pizza guy so farny lahh! I was trying to pay him den like... SO MANY $5 NOTES!!! I was having trouble counting HAHHAHA.
So aft a million years, we finished paying him and ppl were starting to stare at us crazy ppl carrying pizza.
Den we sang for her. Sabrina couldnt come :(( It was her BDAY!! But we sang for her over the phone in the end :)) And Ala gave such a nice speech before we all dug into the food. GOSH LAHH THIS PPL
Open chicken wings, EVERYONE SNATCH den in a few second gone.

The strongest feeling of emotion,
Is when you try your best to believe that ,
That feeling.
Is actually real...
I feel so touched.
On Wed night, I went for piano class.
And I was playing the piano and I accidentaly forgot to curve my pinky finger (We're supposed to keep it curved) and my piano teacher, Ms Su (tho she's married) told me this:
Ms Su: You know what? Your cousin.......likes not curve her finger when she play also...
Me: *Confused abt what she was talking abt* ( I didnt know that my 6 yr old cousin was being thought by her).
Ms Su : You know? Her name is err... Sofia right?
Me: Oh yeah... ( I gave away my beloved piano that has belonged to my mum since she was young to them).
Ms Su: Haha, she also like to not curve. It's very rare but maybe its the genes! Haha, but look now, you can curve your finger so beautifully. When you were small (7 yrs old), you always did that too....
And her voice trailed off. I suddenly felt this HUGE emotion that came over me. The strongest feeling all this week ( I've been feeling so much depression, stress and kept on crying lately...).
And I almost cried on the spot when she said the last few lines....
I'm really so touched. I can't believe it's been 6 years since I've started my piano lessons with Ms Su. She's like... a second mum to me. We even used to sit with her daughters during lessons and we all did our theory and ate and laughed at together...
She is the MAIN reason why I became so into Music, and I'm very grateful for that.
I know its pretty early before teachers day but....
Ms Su, Happy Teacher's Day!
I love you with all my heart and I nvr want to let you go.
Even after I pass my grade 8 ( and diploma?)!
You are Awesome :))

haha ths is so random but I found this so funny.
My younger sis was upset that my dad wont bring her to 7 Eleven to buy a yoyo like my brother has so he randomly picked up my mini guitar and strummed a few chords and sang:
Adeelya like to dance pogo (?),
Aqil likes to play yoyo,
Abang lagi is like bodoh,
Mama is like kepo!
I found this SO FUNNY XD
Especially the last two lines HAHAHA
And the chords he played sounded really nice to I pestered him to teach me afterwards HAHAHA
Okay so random!

Class With A Capital C.
@ 3:03 PM
Hello.
Gah I shouldn't be blogging right now but I couldn't resist. Especially since there's nobody using the com and it's like, calling me...
"Come on...use me...you know you want to..." Hmph. I am such an idiot. Never mind. I did my revision earlier.
Okay I am bored. And I'm still dancing to 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor, the original singer. HAHAHAHAHA. Actually I've been listening to a lot of old songs lately. I don't know why but I realised that all of my songs in my iPod are quite recent, about 95% are from the 21st century. The oldest song was recorded in 1996. So I'm trying to get more songs from the 90s and 80s.
Les Paul, musician and innovator, died on 13 August 2009. This guy was a pioneer in guitar development. And he was a freakishly good guitarist. He was 94.
GAH I forgot to post about something funny that happened on Friday. Jeslyn and me came up with the crazy idea that we use our calculators to talk to each other. The craziest part was that we were sitting right next to each other. We are losers. And when Miss Brislin saw us, she smiled and said, "I don't think you can get a signal in here ladies." Jeslyn and me laughed like retards. Hmm...maybe we should try that in front of Mr Chan. HAHAHAHAHA.
Talking about Mr Chan, SEL lesson on Tuesday was hilarious! We were talking about BGR and Mr Chan asked Nabilah to read cos the content was 'too explicit'. Let me assure you, it wasn't. Then he asked the class, "Who has a boyfriend?"
I raised my hand and shouted, "Me!" Everyone swiveled their head in my direction. "My boyfriend's not real!" And everyone laughed like retards, even Mr Chan. Then at the end of the lesson I forgot what he asked but I said, "I love myself!" quite loudly and he heard. Guess what he said?
'Then you can go one corner and hug yourself." WTH?! HAHAHAHAHA lame!
OMG OMG OMG Lala finally changed the blog songs! Thank you!
Order of Songs:
1. Pop Princess by Click Five
2. Here We Go Again by Demi Lovato
3. Crazy Angel by Kill Hannah
4. Hurricane Streets by Hey Monday
5. Ignorance by Paramore
I purposely chose fast and hyper songs cos Lala always chooses slow and acoustic songs. No offence Lala. Your songs are nice but it gets depressing after a while.
I know Pop Princess is an old song, (Lala remembers me singing it last year!) but it got stuck in my head again. The lyrics also remind me of
You keep living like you're a movie star,
But tell me who
You really are,
When the lights go down.
You were hiding in a darkened stall,
Waiting on your curtain call,
Getting your piece of mind.
But I was looking past the glossy stare,
I knew who was really there.
Here We Go Again is stuck in my head! HAHAHAHAHA.
Crazy Angel is my favourite Kill Hannah song. XD
Hurricane Streets is really really nice. :D
Ignorance, besides being my favourite Paramore song right now, well, there's a specific reason why I chose these songs apart from the one already mentioned. I'll leave it to you to guess the reason.
If I'm a bad person,
You don't like me,
I guess I'll make my own way.
It's a circle, I mean cycle.
I can't excite you anymore.
Where's your gavel, your jury?
What's my offense this time?
You're not a judge,
But if you're gonna judge me,
Well, sentence me to another life.
Don't wanna hear your sad songs.
I don't wanna feel your pain,
When you swear it's all my fault.
Cause you know we're not the same,
We're not the same,
Oh, we're not the same.
Yeah, the friends who stuck together.
We wrote our names in blood,
But I guess you can't accept that
The change is good, It's good. It's good.
Well, you treat me just like another stranger.
Well it's nice to meet you, sir.
I guess I'll go.
I best be on my way out.
You treat me just like another stranger.
Well it's nice to meet you, sir.
I guess I'll go.
I best be on my way out.
Ignorance is your new best friend.
Ignorance is your new best friend.
This is the best thing that could've happened.
Any longer and I wouldn't have made it.
It's not a war.
No, it's not a rapture.
I'm just a person, but you can't take it.
The same tricks that, that once fooled me,
They won't get you anywhere.
I'm not the same kid from your memory.
Well, now I can fend for myself.
Don't wanna hear your sad songs.
I don't wanna feel your pain,
When you swear it's all my fault.
Cause you know we're not the same,
We're not the same,
Oh, we're not the same.
Yeah, we used to stick together.
Okay I have to go and empty the pail on my lap. Byeee peeps. Thank you again Lala.
[You're not the person that I once knew.
There's a stranger in my life.]
